TRIDECETH-6
Is TRIDECETH-6 safe for seborrheic dermatitis?
Trideceth-6 can be usable with seborrheic dermatitis, but it is not automatically gentle. It is a surfactant used to help oils disperse and support cleansing, so concentration, rinse-off time and the wider formula influence irritation.
No direct human seb derm or exact-name Malassezia evidence was found. Its ethoxylated fatty-alcohol structure should not be treated as proof that it feeds yeast. If a cleanser or hair product repeatedly leaves the area tight, itchy or red, choose a gentler formula.

What is TRIDECETH-6 used for in skincare?
Trideceth-6 is a tridecyl alcohol ethoxylate used to emulsify oils and support cleansing. It helps distribute oily ingredients through water-based formulas and can improve rinse-off performance. It is a technical surfactant rather than a seb derm treatment.
