SODIUM SACCHARIN
Is SODIUM SACCHARIN safe for seborrheic dermatitis?
Sodium Saccharin is not automatically unsafe for seborrheic dermatitis, but there is too little relevant ingredient-specific evidence for a broad skincare recommendation. It is used mainly for flavouring, fragrance or oral-care purposes rather than for treating skin.
Because Sodium Saccharin often appears in products not intended as leave-on facial skincare, product type is especially important. The checked sources show no seb derm or Malassezia benefit. If an applied product irritates affected skin, stop using the complete product.

What is SODIUM SACCHARIN used for in skincare?
Sodium Saccharin is used to adjust taste in oral-care products and may have flavouring or fragrance functions. It is not generally included to moisturise, cleanse or treat seborrheic dermatitis. Its presence should be interpreted through the intended use of the product.
