SODIUM CHLORIDE
Is SODIUM CHLORIDE safe for seborrheic dermatitis?
Sodium Chloride is not automatically unsafe for seborrheic dermatitis, but there is not enough ingredient-specific evidence for a universal recommendation. In cosmetics it is often used to adjust thickness or add bulk, so its effect depends on the product and concentration.
A salt-containing cleanser may sting cracked or very inflamed skin even when Sodium Chloride is acceptable in ordinary use. The checked sources do not show that it treats seb derm or changes Malassezia on skin. Judge the full formula by comfort and stop if it repeatedly irritates.

What is SODIUM CHLORIDE used for in skincare?
Sodium Chloride is common salt used in cosmetics for viscosity control, bulking and some fragrance or oral-care functions. In a cleanser it can help create the intended thickness and flow. Its presence is usually about product texture rather than an active skincare benefit.
