SEA SALT
Is SEA SALT safe for seborrheic dermatitis?
There is not enough evidence to rate Sea Salt specifically for seborrheic dermatitis. It can adjust texture, add a mineral feel or support styling, but it is not a treatment for yeast or inflammation.
Sea Salt is mainly inorganic salts rather than a fatty acid or oil, so the practical Malassezia lipid screen does not apply. Concentrated salt can feel drying or sting cracked skin, especially in leave-on scalp sprays. If a product repeatedly leaves a flare tight, prickly or red, choose a gentler formula.

What is SEA SALT used for in skincare?
Sea Salt is a mixture of sodium chloride and smaller amounts of other seawater minerals. It can adjust viscosity, add texture, absorb moisture or create a beachy styling effect. It is often combined with water, magnesium salts, polymers, surfactants and fragrance in scrubs, bath products, cleansers and hair sprays.
