PERSEA GRATISSIMA OIL
Is PERSEA GRATISSIMA OIL safe for seborrheic dermatitis?
Persea Gratissima Oil, better known as avocado oil, is not automatically unsafe for seborrheic dermatitis, but there is not enough direct evidence for a confident ingredient-only verdict. It softens skin and hair, while a rich leave-on oil may feel heavy or uncomfortable during a flare.
Strict Malassezia-screening routines often avoid avocado oil because it contains triglycerides built from long-chain fatty acids. Laboratory studies show that Malassezia can use free palmitic and oleic acids, but avocado oil in a finished cosmetic was not tested. This is a theoretical concern, not proof that it will feed yeast on your skin or trigger a flare.

What is PERSEA GRATISSIMA OIL used for in skincare?
Persea Gratissima Oil is an emollient used to soften skin, reduce a rough feel and condition hair. It also adds richness, glide and oil-soluble material to creams, balms and hair products. Its role is conditioning and texture, not antifungal treatment.
