OENOTHERA BIENNIS OIL
Is OENOTHERA BIENNIS OIL safe for seborrheic dermatitis?
There is not enough applicable evidence to give Evening Primrose Oil a clear general seb derm recommendation. A checked cosmetic assessment includes the fixed seed oil, while treatment research involves different routes, conditions or mixed preparations.
An older topical study included seb derm among several conditions, but combined this oil with other oils, urea and sodium pyruvate; its abstract cannot isolate the oil’s effect. Oral studies and canine atopy research are separate contexts. Its whole-oil composition also supports only a theoretical Malassezia screen. Consider the finished product and known sensitivities, and seek advice about persistent symptoms.

What is OENOTHERA BIENNIS OIL used for in skincare?
Oenothera Biennis Oil is a fixed oil from evening primrose seeds, used as an emollient. It differs from extracts of the flowers, leaves and other plant parts. A study of oral supplementation cannot automatically describe ordinary topical cosmetic use.
