HYDROLYZED COLLAGEN
Is HYDROLYZED COLLAGEN safe for seborrheic dermatitis?
Hydrolyzed Collagen is generally a lower-concern ingredient for seborrheic dermatitis. On the skin it mainly helps hold water and form a conditioning film; it is not a proven seb derm treatment and should not be expected to rebuild the skin's own collagen.
General cosmetic research supports a surface moisturising role, but there is no direct human seb derm or ingredient-specific Malassezia evidence. A gentle hydrating formula may feel useful when skin is dry, although fragrance, preservatives and the heaviness of the complete product still decide whether it suits an active flare.

What is HYDROLYZED COLLAGEN used for in skincare?
Hydrolyzed Collagen is collagen that has been broken into smaller protein fragments or peptides so it disperses more easily in cosmetic formulas. It can attract water, improve slip and leave a light conditioning film on skin or hair. It is often combined with humectants, film formers, botanical extracts and emollients in masks, serums, creams and haircare.
