HYDROGENATED RAPESEED OIL
Is HYDROGENATED RAPESEED OIL safe for seborrheic dermatitis?
Hydrogenated Rapeseed Oil is generally a lower-concern emollient under its existing label, but a strict Malassezia-conscious routine may still screen it cautiously. It softens and thickens products and is not a seb derm treatment.
Ordinary rapeseed oil contains mostly long-chain fatty acids, but hydrogenation changes the oil and the exact cosmetic material was not tested in the available laboratory or human seb derm evidence. Free-fatty-acid culture studies do not prove that this triglyceride ingredient feeds yeast on skin. If you are actively flaring and want the most conservative routine, choosing a simpler non-oil formula is reasonable.

What is HYDROGENATED RAPESEED OIL used for in skincare?
Hydrogenated Rapeseed Oil is rapeseed oil that has been chemically hardened to make it more stable and wax-like. It softens the skin, adds body and helps creams, balms or sticks hold their shape. It is often combined with liquid oils, waxes and emulsifiers to control firmness and glide.
