HYALURONIC ACID
Is HYALURONIC ACID safe for seborrheic dermatitis?
Hyaluronic Acid is generally a lower-concern ingredient for seborrheic dermatitis. It attracts water and supports a hydrated skin feel, but it does not treat Malassezia or replace proven seb derm care.
Topical hyaluronic-acid research supports hydration and cosmetic skin-quality benefits, not control of seb derm flares. No ingredient-specific Malassezia concern was found because it is a carbohydrate polymer rather than a fatty lipid. Comfort still depends on molecular form, climate and the rest of the product, especially fragrance, solvents and preservatives.

What is HYALURONIC ACID used for in skincare?
Hyaluronic Acid is a large sugar-based molecule naturally present in skin and connective tissue. In topical products it acts mainly as a humectant and film-forming moisturiser, binding water near the surface. It is often combined with glycerin, sodium hyaluronate, panthenol, peptides and emollients in serums, masks and creams.
