GLYCINE SOJA OIL
Is GLYCINE SOJA OIL safe for seborrheic dermatitis?
Glycine Soja Oil, or soybean oil, is not proven safe or unsafe for seborrheic dermatitis. It can soften skin and support a richer cream, but a heavy leave-on oil may feel uncomfortable during a greasy or inflamed flare.
Strict Malassezia-screening routines often avoid soybean oil because it is a triglyceride oil containing long-chain fatty acids. Laboratory studies show Malassezia can use some free fatty acids, but soybean oil in a finished cosmetic was not tested. This is a theoretical screening concern rather than proof that every small amount will trigger symptoms.

What is GLYCINE SOJA OIL used for in skincare?
Glycine Soja Oil is soybean oil, a triglyceride-rich botanical emollient used to soften skin, condition hair and add richness to creams, balms and cleansing oils. Its fatty-acid profile is commonly dominated by linoleic acid, with oleic and palmitic acids also present. It is a conditioning ingredient, not an antifungal treatment.
