Fucus Vesiculosus Extract keeps its lower-concern label for seborrheic dermatitis. It is added for skin conditioning and antioxidant-style claims, not as a proven antifungal treatment.

A small human study of one aqueous extract gel reported changes in cheek-skin elasticity and thickness, but that is not seb derm evidence and cannot represent every extract. No ingredient-specific Malassezia study was found. Extraction method, fragrance, preservatives and the rest of the formula remain important for reactive skin.
