ETIDRONIC ACID
Is ETIDRONIC ACID safe for seborrheic dermatitis?
Etidronic Acid is not an obvious seborrheic-dermatitis trigger, but comfort depends on the concentration, pH and complete formula. Despite the word acid, it is mainly a chelating stabilizer rather than an exfoliant or seb derm treatment.
No direct human seb derm or exact-name Malassezia evidence was found. Its technical role does not predict whether a cleanser or cream will suit inflamed skin. Stop if the finished product repeatedly stings or increases redness.

What is ETIDRONIC ACID used for in skincare?
Etidronic Acid, also called HEDP, binds trace metal ions that could otherwise affect colour, stability or preservation. It is used in small amounts to keep cosmetic and cleansing formulas performing consistently, especially in the presence of minerals from water or raw materials.
