BEESWAX
Is BEESWAX safe for seborrheic dermatitis?
Beeswax is generally a lower-concern structure ingredient under its current label, but a strict Malassezia-conscious routine may choose to screen it. It thickens balms and creams and is not a treatment for seborrheic dermatitis.
Its long-chain wax esters create a theoretical lipid question, but free-fatty-acid laboratory studies did not test Beeswax, finished products or people with seb derm. A separate issue is contact allergy: reactions have been documented in a selected facial-eczema and cheilitis group, often alongside propolis. If you know you react to bee products or a waxy formula worsens redness, choose an alternative.

What is BEESWAX used for in skincare?
Beeswax is a complex natural mixture of wax esters, fatty materials and other minor components produced by honeybees. It thickens balms and creams, improves water resistance and helps sticks keep their shape. It is commonly paired with plant oils, butters and other waxes to control firmness and glide.
