ADENOSINE
Is ADENOSINE safe for seborrheic dermatitis?
Adenosine keeps its lower-concern editorial label for seborrheic dermatitis. It is used mainly in skin-conditioning and anti-wrinkle products, not as an antifungal or established treatment for seb derm.
Controlled cosmetic studies have found smoother-looking wrinkles with adenosine-containing products, but those results concern ageing skin and cannot show that Adenosine alone helps a flare. It is not a fatty lipid in the usual Malassezia screen, and no direct seb derm study was found. Judge the full serum or cream by its other actives and tolerance.

What is ADENOSINE used for in skincare?
Adenosine is a naturally occurring nucleoside involved in cellular signalling. Skincare products use it as a conditioning active, especially in formulas designed to improve the visible appearance of fine lines. It is often combined with humectants, peptides, niacinamide, emollients and botanical extracts in eye creams, serums, masks and moisturisers.
